I am a Bay Area native, born and raised. I was born very premature, and that played a huge influence in where I am today. I have a passion for science. Originally, was pre-med but wanted a different path that is still within science and uses my degree. My background is mainly in education (tutoring), and healthcare (medical assisting, COVID testing). I loved learning about the how's and why's of science. This led to me earning my BS in Biology (Physiology). Some of my favorite classes I have taken in undergrad and Post-Bacc were: Pharmacology, General Biochemistry, Human Physiology, and Developmental Biology. My favorite topics in science are: metabolic pathways, mechanisms of drug action and signal transduction cascades.
